So, just how does Amor work?

It’s super simple! 

  1. Download the app.

    Find us here in the App Store or here in Google Play.

  2. Complete the survey.

    Taking about eight minutes, the survey has 58 questions that help us work out your attachment style, your love language, your values, family objectives - the things that help determine compatibility.

  3. Subscribe to Amor

    Without a subscription you are able to have a look around Amor - but we don’t allocate new matches to you.

    In the app, update your bio

    Across our Amor community, those with bios have more engaged matches

  4. Match day is Sunday at 4pm

    At 4pm every Sunday, our algorithm will find up to three matches for you (where there is a compatibility score of 70% or higher).

  5. Your matches will come through with a blurred photo

    It will stay that way for 24 hours! The idea is that you get to know your match without prejudice - plus it makes for an exciting Monday at 4pm - and frankly Monday afternoon could do with a little jazzing up!

  6. You can opt out of your matches at any time

    We ask for feedback on why you ‘unmatch’, but this information is not shared.

  7. You can only have three matches at any one time

    If you have three matches that you are happy working with - when Sunday 4pm rolls around, you won’t get new matches. If you have ‘unmatched’ one, but have two others - you’ll get one new match. You only have three available slots for a match.

  8. UNLESS we find you a super match

    If someone joins our community and they are a 75%+ match, we won’t make you wait until Sunday - we’ll send them on through, meaning that you may have four matches that week - lucky you!
